Hello Eagle Community!
I am grateful that this is my second year as the Occupational Therapist at Silver Creek! I am a proud Colorado native and my husband and I enjoy doing typical outdoor adventures including camping and hiking. But our favorite thing is fly fishing! We love fishing all over the state and finding new water. We also enjoy going to breweries across the state. We have 2 fur babies-a dog named Argos who is our fly fishing side kick and a orange kitty named Oskar.
I have been at Adams 12 since 2016 and love working with students. I have worked with pediatrics with special needs for 10 years and knew I wanted to go into a field where I could support this population. I attained my bachelors degree at Colorado State University (Go Rams!) in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis on Occupational Health. Following my time at CSU, I moved to Ohio for my Masters of Occupational Therapy program. From there, I was able to complete my field works back in Colorado where I was placed at several Adams 12 schools thus introducing me to school based OT. Shortly after, I accepted a full time OT position for the district. I look forward to this new school year and learning how I can support my students best remotely.
