I am entering my 18th year of teaching and am currently a fourth grade teacher. I started out my career teaching 2nd grade , but decided after two years to move to fourth grade where I have remained ever since. Fourth grade is where my heart is. I love the curriculum and the students. I have been at Silver Creek since the school opened and I feel very blessed to be here. I love the staff and the community. My passion is to teach my students to believe in themselves no matter what and to model for them a love of learning.
I am a Colorado native and love living here. I went to the University of Colorado where I received both my undergraduate and master’s degree. I also studied at a college in Norwich, England called the University of East Anglia. I was there for a semester during my junior year of college. I am currently working on another degree through Liberty University in community care and counseling. I believe that mental health is so important and kids need to know that they are loved and that they matter. My family lives here in Colorado and I love them dearly. I have an older sister who is my best friend. I enjoy exercising, reading, hiking and spending time with friends.
