I am so excited to be a Silver Creek Eagle this year! This will be my first year at Silver Creek and my 8th year teaching. I have previously taught both 1st and 2nd grade in Frisco, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M (Gig ‘em Aggies) in 2011 with a bachelors in history and went on to get my teaching license the following year.
My husband, Josh, and I relocated to Colorado from Texas this summer and we are so excited to experience all Colorado has to offer. We have a sweet dog named Obi who is quickly becoming an adventure dog here in Colorado. On our days off we love to hike, camp, and do any kind of outdoor activity.
First grade is such a wonderful age and I love to see the immense growth in my students during this year. While this year will be different from any other, I am so excited to get to know each of my students and help them grow.
